The “Immunity” category brings together herbal tinctures and dried herbs that Bulgarian folk medicine has traditionally used to support the body’s natural defences – especially in autumn and winter, when days are shorter and demands are higher. If you are looking for herbs for immunity, you will find both ready-made tinctures and herbs for tea here.

  • Sambutsin – an elderberry tincture, known for generations as a winter drink;
  • Astragalus – with Astragalus glycyphyllos, traditionally valued as a tonic herb;
  • Ginger and Tonus – with ginger root, Tonus also with turmeric, for a warming effect;
  • Mountain Tea, Geranium (wild geranium root), Anise, Yuglandi and Toxiclean.

Alongside them you will find dried herbs – elder berries, ginger and turmeric root, wild geranium, astragalus, eyebright, milk thistle and Sideritis mountain tea – for those who prefer a fragrant infusion in the morning or evening.

The tinctures are water-alcohol extracts with no added colourings, flavourings or stabilisers. They complement, but do not replace, a varied diet, enough sleep and time outdoors. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication, talk to your doctor before adding a new herb.

FAQ

According to the manufacturer’s instructions, take 20 drops (about 1 ml) dissolved in a glass of water, 3 times a day, preferably 10–15 minutes before a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Each bottle contains 50 ml.

The choice depends on personal preference. Sambutsin (elderberry) and Ginger are among the most popular winter tinctures, while Tonus combines ginger and turmeric. If you prefer a broader approach, have a look at the “Immunity” package with 9 tinctures. If in doubt, ask a doctor or pharmacist.

The tinctures are water-alcohol extracts and contain alcohol, so they are not intended for children without consulting a doctor. Keep them out of the reach of young children. For older family members you might consider an infusion of dried herbs, after seeking professional advice.
