Toning
Morning sluggishness, seasonal tiredness or simply the need for a little more energy during the day – at such times many people reach for tonic herbs. In this category we have selected plants that folk medicine has traditionally used for alertness and to support the body during demanding periods.
The Ginger tincture is made from ginger root – a spicy, warming and aromatic herb traditionally used for general vitality and digestive comfort. Sambutsin contains elder berries – rich in natural pigments and known in Bulgarian homes as a winter drink.
Alongside them we offer dried herbs: ginger root, elder berries and walnut leaf. A morning infusion of ginger with a slice of lemon can be a pleasant alternative to a second cup of coffee.
Real energy comes from good sleep, nourishing food, water and exercise – herbs can only complement these foundations. If your tiredness is long-lasting and unexplained, see a doctor, as it can have various causes. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, or if you are on any medication, ask a doctor before trying these herbs.
