This widespread plant, which we have all seen, turns out to be an exceptional remedy for dozens of diseases and ailments. Without listing all the benefits of the plant with five-petaled yellow flowers, we will emphasize those that relate to gynecological diseases and disorders. Cinquefoil, prepared as a tea or extract, helps with vaginal discharge, uterine fibroids, and some other formations on female reproductive organs. Treatment with cinquefoil is particularly effective for ovarian cysts.

Periodontitis is a dental disease most commonly caused by poor oral hygiene and an unhealthy lifestyle. While periodontitis is typically a disease that affects adults, more and more young people are complaining of periodontitis symptoms. Periodontitis is the second most common dental disease after tooth decay. People over 30 years of age are primarily at risk of the disease, although recently there has been an increase in young people suffering from periodontitis. Periodontitis is not just a dental disease. It is also linked to diseases of the circulatory, endocrine, and nervous systems.

The disease develops in several stages. Initially, there is itching, burning, redness, and numbness of the gums. Subsequently, the gums become swollen, inflamed, gather pus, and may start bleeding. In other cases, the gums become pale. Periodontitis is often accompanied by bad breath and the formation of periodic abscesses.

There are certain factors known to be the main causes of the disease. Tartar, poorly placed fillings or dentures, vitamin deficiency, poor dental hygiene, unhealthy lifestyle, misaligned teeth, and the presence of too much space between teeth are some of the causes of periodontitis. Genetic predisposition may also be the cause of the disease. Those most at risk for the disease are pregnant women, diabetics, and people with improper bite.
