Broadleaf plantain (Plantago major) is a perennial herbaceous plant from the Plantain family (Plantaginaceae). It can be found throughout the country in meadows, gardens, pastures, along fields and roads, in grassy and sandy areas. It is known by the names Plantain, Waybread, and Common Plantain. The usable parts are the leaves. They contain flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoid iridoids, tannins, bitter and mucilaginous substances, vitamins C, K, minerals, tannins, carotene, etc. Thanks to its active substances, the herb has antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, expectorant, regenerative, analgesic, antiseptic, and diuretic properties.

Broadleaf plantain leaves are used for:
