Chamomile (Matricaria) is an annual herbaceous plant from the Asteraceae family (Asteraceae). In Bulgaria, you can find it everywhere, in weedy and abandoned places, meadows, fields, pastures, along roads up to 1000m above sea level. It loves sunlight and is drought-resistant. Other names for chamomile are: Aromatic Feverfew, Matricaria, Witch's Herb. The usable part of the plant is the flower head.
