Beneficial for kidney ailments and kidney stones
White birch (Betula Pendula Roth) is a deciduous tree from the Birch family (Betulaceae). It grows well in moist, brown and grey forest soils, in coniferous forests, in clearings, in all high mountains in Bulgaria and at altitudes up to 2000m. The usable parts are the leaves, leaf buds, catkins, and bark. They are rich in betulin, betulinic acid, salicylate, essential oil, tannins, saponins, glycosides, minerals, vitamin C, and others. Thanks to its active substances, the herb has diuretic, laxative, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, urine-inducing, bile-stimulating, and general strengthening effects. It helps with the elimination of stones and sand from kidneys and bladder, rapid wound healing, and supports the immune system.
